We service and/or repair anything between your SL’s front and rear bumpers. From a simple oil change to a complex restoration. It is a true “one stop” for all your SL needs, workshop.
Our local Club Members in the Houston, Columbus and Galveston areas, use our club for full service and repairs. Our statewide Members use the club largely for extensive repairs and the once a year full maintenance services.

The SL Club is a one stop Repair / Service / Restoration Shop for SLs built between 1973 and 1989.
Most of our customers refer to their cars as “Keepers”, and we treat those cars just like that. With every service or repair we will bring the car a step closer to showroom condition.
For example: Tires.
If your car needs new tires, they have to come off the rim. While they are off, we might as well refinish the rims. That looks much better than new tires on worn rims.
Another example would be shock absorbers. If it is time to replace the shocks, it would also be time to replace the stabilizer links. Replacing these associated 10 to 20 dollar items at the same time maximizes the effectiveness of your new suspension. This progressive upgrade process may take several years, but it is very gentle on your check book.

Drivers Maintenance Course.
This course is designed for people who want to become more familiar with their automobiles. Everything from oil level checking to spare tire installation, we cover all a driver needs to know. This is a hands on course, so dress casual. The course takes three hours and will be held on a Saturday morning from 9:00 to 12:00. There will be no test. Course fee is $ 50.00 per person. The Roundtable.
After five o’clock on weekdays, members meet around the roundtable. Some are here to pick up their cars, some are just stopping by. We don’t serve any beverages, but we sure let you know where the fridge is. Our members make certain that there is always something in it to share.

Defensive Driving Course.
One of our members is a defensive driving instructor. Mike charges the minimum the state requires for the course. May it be for a ticket dismissal or for insurance savings. This is money spend well.

Drivers & Workshop.
Some of our members want detailed information about their repairs, some want to watch us repairing the vehicle. We encourage both, because the more you understand, the better it is.
